Mahesh Mansukhani Elected to AOPA Board of Directors

At the 2009 Annual Business Meeting of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) held on Monday, September 21, members approved the 2009 slate of officers and Board nominees for the 2009-2010 term.  Mahesh Mansukhani, President of Ossur Americas, was appointed Director-at-Large.

AOPA has been instrumental in raising awareness and impacting policies that affect the future of the O&P industry.  They have partnered with ACA to advance Medical Coverage Parity for Amputees, AOPA membership consists of over 1900 O&P patient care facilities and suppliers.  They also sponsor the only PAC representing the O&P industry and profession on Capitol Hill, which provides increased access and visibility for the O&P industry in Washington D.C.  There also provide many important services to members, such as education and reimbursement input.

Mahesh Mansukhani, President of Ossur AmericasMahesh joined Ossur in 2008. Prior to joining Ossur, he was a Director at AlixPartners (2008). From 2005-2007, he was the Global Business Director of DuPont Tyvek® and the Global Director of DuPont Marketing and Sales Effectiveness from 2002-2005. Prior to this, Mahesh held roles in Management Consulting and Finance. Mr. Mansukhani has an M.A. degree in Multinational Accounting and Financial Management from Reading University in England, M. Phil. Finance degree from Warwick Business School in England, and an MBA from Yale University in the United States.
